Diego "Chico" Corrales, 29, lost his life on Monday in a fatal motorcycle accident, reports his promoter. Corrales won titles in two weight classes and was one of the most memorable fighters.

His promoter, Gary Shaw said, Corrales was on his motorcycle and he was involved in a tragic accident in southwest Las Vegas early Monday evening.

His Manager, James Prince, also confirmed his death from the scene of the accident on ESPN.com and Yahoo.com.

Corrales was a big puncher who was best known for getting up after two 10th-round knockdowns to stop Jose Luis Castillo, ironically, exactly two years ago on Monday, the day he was killed.
