Two people were injured and a woman killed in a two-car crash Thursday night.

Jackson Police say the woman was a passenger in a white Ford F150 pickup truck that was traveling southbound at 6:14 when the truck was hit by a Honda Civic traveling east.

Witnesses told police the Honda ran a red light and struck the pickup truck causing it to flip over. The pickup landed upside down.

Both drivers were taken to the hospital and no further information is available yet. It is unclear if the drivers were wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident or if alcohol was involved.
